Network & Infrastructure Engineer specializing in enterprise Cisco architectures, intelligent automation, and bridging infrastructure with modern software systems. Building networks that are resilient, observable, and built to scale.
01 — About
I'm Misal Muhammed Kunhi — a Network & Infrastructure Engineer with a sharp focus on designing enterprise-grade, fault-tolerant architectures. I live in the world of Cisco, routing protocols, and systems that need to stay up.
Currently grinding toward CCIE certification while building projects at the intersection of networking and intelligent automation. I believe the next evolution of infrastructure engineering requires fluency in both CLI and code.
Outside the NOC, you'll find me logging long-distance runs on Strava, hiking trails, or capturing the world through a camera lens.
02 — Live CLI
This is where I'm most at home — a terminal, a topology, and a problem to solve. Simulated diagnostic run across a multi-site Cisco environment.
From BGP session verification to Ansible playbook deployments, this is the day-to-day.
03 — Projects
Capstone project — an automated academic advisor subsystem for university environments. Intelligently routes students through course planning using rule-based automation pipelines and a clean advisor interface.
View on GitHubAn AI-powered assistant designed for network operations contexts — providing natural language querying of network state, automated diagnostics, and intelligent configuration recommendations. Where CLI meets LLM.
In DevelopmentFull-stack sports management platform covering team coordination, match scheduling, live stats tracking, and league standings — built on a scalable REST architecture with a React front-end.
View on GitHubA family-oriented private communication and coordination app built around privacy-first architecture. Shared calendars, messaging, and memories — designed for people who value connectivity without the noise of social media.
View on GitHubA community-driven platform connecting people through shared interests, local events, and collaborative tools — fostering real neighbourhood-level digital engagement without the noise of mainstream social media. Built privacy-first, with real-time interaction at its core.

05 — Journey
Pursuing the pinnacle of Cisco certification — covering advanced enterprise infrastructure, complex routing/switching scenarios, and network automation at scale. The hardest thing I've done on purpose.
Certified in applying AI/ML to network operations — covering AI-driven analytics, intent-based networking, and intelligent automation frameworks within Cisco environments.
Certified in IT service management best practices — service lifecycle, continual improvement, incident and change management frameworks used across enterprise IT organizations.
Foundation certification validating skills across network fundamentals, IP connectivity, security, automation, and programmability. Where the deep dive into Cisco began.
